"It's Time" brought tears to my eyes when I completed as it marked a year since I held my mother's hand. It doesn't represent dark sadness, death, or any tortured soul. It had marked the start of the fall season, which had always been my mother's favorite time of year and my own. As a dedicated fan of Edgar Allen Poe, this painting of ink and watercolor is an exciting invitation to begin the spooky season of fall.

"Summer Garden" is an 18x24 canvas created by mixed media and oils. Cone Flowers are the epitome of resilience. I remember buying them in a pot from Home Depot 5 years ago and every year, whether I water them or not, they return strong after the winter. They are giants in my garden, towering over everything else and hanging on through the heat with their outstanding resilience. Stand tall my friends! I'm grateful for the beauty you bring everyday!

It's not about the lemons, it's what you do with them. This piece is currently available.
